Dinosaur Valley RV Park is a well‑established, family‑friendly destination with a growing list of amenities. Guests enjoy two swimming pools and an adult‑only hot tub, along with our private access to the Paluxy River for relaxing, exploring, and making memories.
We host weekend and holiday activities throughout the year, including:

A state park trailhead on property provides direct access to Dinosaur Valley State Park programs and hiking opportunities. (State Park entrance fee applies.)
Our onsite General Store is stocked with old‑fashioned sodas, groceries, toys, souvenirs, and essential RV supplies.

Swimming Pools
Our swimming pools are the ideal place to cool off and relax during the warmer months. The surrounding deck features plenty of chairs and umbrellas for shade and comfort.
The Family Pool sits conveniently beside the Event Center, while the Adult Pool is located just off the office and General Store for a quieter, more laid‑back experience.
Dog Park
Pets are allowed (other than commonly recognized aggressive breeds) and must be kept on a leash, and picked up after. No pets allowed in cabins, pool areas and event center.
Our Dog Park is the perfect spot for your pups to stretch their legs, burn some energy, and make new friends. The fully fenced area offers plenty of room to run, along with a picnic table where owners can relax while their dogs play.
The grassy space is kept clean and welcoming, complete with fun touches like a real fire hydrant, a playful dinosaur figure, and plenty of tennis balls for fetching.

Event Center
Our Event Center is an ideal space for meetings, family reunions, and group gatherings. The building comfortably accommodates up to 65 guests and includes restroom facilities and a kitchen area for convenient food prep and serving. Bicycle & Remote Control Car Trail
Our Bicycle & RC Car Trail is a fun, family‑friendly spot designed for adventure, speed, and outdoor play. Kids and adults alike can enjoy cruising the trail on bicycles or testing their skills with remote‑control cars on a path made just for them.
It’s a great way to burn energy, explore, and add a little friendly competition to your stay at Dinosaur Valley RV Park.
Dinosaur Valley RV Park Playground
Our playground is a vibrant, kid‑friendly space designed for fun, imagination, and outdoor adventure. With swings, slides, climbing walls, and colorful play structures—including a friendly dinosaur figure—it’s the perfect spot for children to burn off energy and make new friends.
Located in a grassy open area under wide Texas skies, the playground offers plenty of room to run, explore, and enjoy the fresh air. Parents can relax nearby while the kids play, laugh, and create lasting memories.
Barnyard
Step into our Barnyard for a hands‑on, family‑friendly experience that brings smiles to guests of all ages. This playful area is home to a mix of friendly animals and charming farm‑style décor, offering kids a chance to interact, observe, and enjoy the simple joys of country life.
Whether you're snapping photos, or just soaking in the rustic atmosphere, the Barnyard adds a wholesome touch to your stay at Dinosaur Valley RV Park. It’s a great spot for little explorers and animal lovers alike.

Frontier Fort
Our Frontier Fort brings a touch of Old West adventure to your stay at Dinosaur Valley RV Park. Kids can climb, explore, and imagine life on the frontier as they navigate the fort’s towers, walkways, and play areas. It’s a fun, hands‑on space that sparks creativity and lets young explorers step into their own western story.

Paluxy River Frontage
Our stretch of the Paluxy River is one of the most unique and memorable features of Dinosaur Valley RV Park. The water is crystal clear, shallow enough for wading, and perfect for swimming on warm Texas days. With its natural rock bottom and countless authentic dinosaur tracks, the river feels like a step back in time.
Guests love relaxing in our river loungers, casting a line for a little fishing is welcome. As you explore upstream and downstream, you’ll discover hidden waterfalls and peaceful pockets of water ideal for cooling off or taking photos.
